“Ohh, Happy New Year.”
Another year has flown by in the blink of an eye. It’s incredible how quickly time passes. For me, last year was particularly magical. In June, I accomplished a big dream of mine by publishing my first book; “Secrets of the Elementals.” As an independent author, getting your work noticed and building an audience can be challenging, but I’m proud of what I’ve achieved.

While promoting my book took up a lot of my spare time, especially creating the Xmas Calendar to read the book in 24 parts during Christmas. I also made room for my other hobbies and passions. In addition to coaching my son’s football team, I enjoyed playing Pathfinder with my friends. I started serving as the Game Master for a campaign based on a book series I’m writing. These activities provided a welcome respite from the busyness of everyday life. Despite the demands of promoting my book, I was able to find a balance and make time for the things that bring me joy.

As the new year begins, I’m already thinking about the goals I want to set for myself. One of my main goals is to complete book two by the end of the year. While it may be ambitious, I’m determined to see it through. If you haven’t read book one, you could add it to the new year’s TBR. You can find it here if you’d like.

I had a wonderful holiday season with my family in beautiful Trondheim, and now it’s back to work.
